Why We Developed a Free Mobile App at LetsDefend
Contents

Over the past four years, we created over 150 blue team courses, generated 300+ simulated SIEM alerts, and crafted more than 100 challenges. Now, we are thrilled to introduce our new mobile app designed to make learning cybersecurity more accessible than ever.

Free

We understand that many individuals are curious about cybersecurity but may not yet be ready to invest in a career path. To support this exploration, we've developed a completely free training app. While you'll encounter some ads to help fund our team, an ad-free experience is available through a reasonably priced subscription.

Easy to Access

Even if you're waiting for a bus or metro, you can simply open the app, spend just five minutes, and learn new things about cybersecurity. This way, you don’t need to open your laptop, set up a working environment, or worry about internet connection quality.

It's much easier to build a learning habit.

User Data

LetsDefend has always prioritized hands-on practice in a browser-based environment, with our simulated SOC and Linux/Windows labs. Even though it's almost impossible to complete these labs on mobile devices, our users are trying to do so.

At the end of the day, we wanted to make their lives easier.

Conclusion

We’re excited to offer a mobile app that enhances accessibility and supports your journey into cybersecurity. By providing a convenient and free platform, we hope to foster curiosity and continuous learning. Mark your calendars—the app will be available on March 31st in both the Google Play and iOS App Store. Download it, explore its features, and join our growing community of learners.

One more thing: if you're thinking we'll move to the red team side on letsdefend.io, I'd like to say my smartphone is still blue.

We look forward to hearing your feedback and growing together.
